Taking place in Hong Kong in 2023, Art Basel is set to be the most significant exhibition to be held in the city in history. Featuring artists from all over the world, the event will attract 40,000 attendees, according to organizers. They say that the event will be the largest in the world, making it a must-see destination for anyone visiting Asia.
Afterlife and Honey Dijon will perform
Considering the name recognition, it is no surprise that Afterlife Pornos and Honey Dijon will perform at Art Basel Hong Kong in 2023. The duo is best known for its exotic stage setups and signature dance moves. In addition to their showtimes, they will be making their mark on the city’s music scene by throwing a series of high-energy after-hours parties. The list of attendees is bound to grow with each passing day. So whether you’re in the market for some late-night r&r or a date, this is the place to be. The best time to get your paws in a groove is on the weekend of April 14th and 15th.
Afterlife is a well-rounded production, and the quality of the DJs and performers is as high as the quality of the food and beverages. In addition, the space which the venue occupies is a veritable oasis of creativity. In fact, this is a great time to rekindle your love for the city that never sleeps. Those lucky enough to score tickets to last year’s after-hours bash at the Wynwood Yards will have a front-row seat for this year. The after-hours perks include special access to the club’s new swank digs and the opportunity to rub elbows with Kenny G, Daft Punk, and a host of other luminaries. This is not to mention the plethora of hotspots abounds.
Afterlife and Honey Dijon will be the talk of the town for weeks to come. However, purchasing a pass is the best way to experience this exciting and enlightening nightlife event. This will ensure a prime location for the slew of after-hours fans and the opportunity to score early bird tickets.
Brett Gorvy will be the new Asia director.
During Art Basel in Hong Kong last week, Brett Gorvy was in the news, as his former employer, Christie’s, had hired him to be its new Asia director. He said he was impressed with the fair and wanted to capitalize on its growth.
In addition to this, the gallery will be opening its third location. This will be located in Hong Kong, a city that has been participating in Art Basel for five years. The new place will be at the historic St. George’s Building, designed by architect Bill Katz. The gallery will also feature a research center and exhibition spaces.
The gallery’s other new addition is a new WeChat account. The gallery’s CEO, Mathias Rastorfer, says the fund will allow him to communicate with his clients better. The WeChat account is only the latest in a series of new and innovative ways the gallery is leveraging the platform.
Other recent developments include a WeChat account for the German Esther Schipper and the opening of a WeChat account for Galerie Gmurzynska. In addition, the gallery has added a business representative in Taiwan, Serena Chien, who previously worked for Sotheby’s and Whitestone Gallery.
The most important new addition is the introduction of a hybrid digital format. The new digital format will build on recent online viewing rooms. The gallery has also re-hired some staff in Hong Kong to ensure the operation of the office.
The gallery has also been active in Shanghai, opening a representative office there in September 2018. In addition to exhibiting works of art, the gallery has expanded its product line to include art investment funds.
PCR testing will no longer be necessary for persons entering Hong Kong from outside the country, and Taiwan
PCR testing will no longer be necessary for persons entering Hong Kong from outside the country and Taiwan. The Hong Kong government announced the decision on Friday. Its aim is to minimize inconveniences for inbound travelers.
The announcement comes after more than two years of border restrictions. In addition, a formal quarantine was implemented after the 2009 pandemic. The government aims to stamp out the infection while minimizing epidemic development.
The new rules will take effect on September 26 and apply to both inbound and outbound travel. They include a three-day self-monitoring period for all visitors. People who test positive will be placed under isolation at government-run facilities. Those who have negative results can continue their journey.
Non-Hong Kong residents aged 12 and older must have vaccinations and pass temperature checks upon arrival. Children as young as two will also need to wear masks at school.
Inbound travelers from overseas will be required to undergo a rapid antigen test. These tests can be administered by a professional or by the traveler. The result must be uploaded to the Department of Health’s online form. Those who are not fully vaccinated can be denied entry.
Visitors to Hong Kong from mainland China and Macao will still be subject to a three-day mandatory quarantine. In addition, the Amber Code remains in place and restricts access to hotels and restaurants.
Passengers arriving from mainland China will still be required to do a rapid antigen test before boarding their flight. However, they will not be required to present a pre-departure PCR XXX test.
The Hong Kong government also rationalized its arrangements for inbound persons from Macao. A one-stop registration system is now in place. In addition, those who are not fully vaccinated will be required to complete a five-day self-monitoring period.
