Marketing Director
We seek a confident and highly experienced hands on marketer to further develop and execute a global marketing strategy for the Fair to take it to the next level.
Candidates are likely to have an understanding of positioning of highend brands and have an empathy with visual art. Knowledge of event marketing and how the international art world world be useful but not essential.
The Marketing Director will be required to create, oversee and manage the following:
• Global positioning of the Fair
• Positioning of the Fair within Mainland China, across Asia Pacific and within Hong Kong
• Design and branding
• Dedicated collector and art world marketing campaign
• Collector acquisition campaign
• Attracting new potential buyers
• Integrated marketing campaign – including online, direct mail, local and international press advertising campaigns
• The design of an extensive social media campaign
• Ticket sales campaign
• Local, mainland and international PR campaigns
• Development of marketing partnerships and working closely with sponsors
The Candidate must have the following attributes:
• At least seven years solid marketing experience
• Fully competent budgetary management skills
• Working to tight deadlines and under pressure
• Superb organisational skills
• Excellent team management skills
The Company has plans to launch other events within Hong Kong. It is our intention that the appointed candidate takes marketing responsibility for these too appointing necessary staff as appropriate.
Languages: Fluent English. Cantonese and Mandarin are an advantage but not essential.
Location
The role is based in our offices in Hong Kong.
