ART FUTURES

ART FUTURES is a feature of ART HK showcasing emerging talent represented by young galleries. ART FUTURES galleries are established in or after 2004, and show one or two artists aged 35 years old or less at the time of application.
A US$25,000 prize is awarded to the artist judged to be the best in this section. The 2012 ART FUTURES prize judges are Okwui Enwezor (Director, Haus der Kunst, Munich, Germany), Elaine W. Ng (Editor and Publisher of ArtAsiaPacific), and Lars Nittve (Executive Director of M+, the contemporary museum component of Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District).
